Lillian Lane, a 2015 West Potomac High School graduate, committed to row for the Loyola University Maryland crew team next year.
One of her coaches there will be Mount Vernon High School alum, Greg Muir. Lane started her rowing career as a freshman at West Potomac and has excelled, going to nationals her sophomore and junior years. She served as the women’s captain and has received academic letters each year. Additionally, Lane rowed with Old Dominion Boat Club in Alexandria during the summer and fall seasons, winning several local and national races. Lane received a Presidential Scholarship for her academic achievements.
