Alexandria — Volunteer Alexandria honored Patty Moran and Lyles Carr at the annual Evening in the Heart of Alexandria reception and live auction on Friday evening, Nov. 2, at Gadsby’s Tavern.
This years event co-chairs were Vice Mayor Kerry Donley and Councilman David Speck. Patty Moran was the recipient of the Joan White Grassroots Volunteer Award. Lyles Carr was awarded the Marian Van Landingham Lifetime Service Award. Music was provided by students in the T.C. Williams orchestra program.
