Popcorn was popping, the jig saw was cutting, sanders were smoothing out rough edges as the Old Town Ace Hardware’s Pinewood Derby Workshop got underway Saturday morning, Jan. 7. More than 100 cars were cut on the first day.
Old Town Hardware is asking for a $1 donation for cutting and 5 percent of all derby-related items sold at the store will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network and the Boy Scouts of America. Old Town Ace Hardware is located at 809 S. Washington St.
